Manufacturing CADD Support for RCI
Project Duration: October 2014 – August 2018
Role: CAD Consultant
Client: RCI Technologies
Project Overview:
The RCI Technologies Project focused on utilizing advanced CAD techniques to enhance and update technical drawings for proprietary fuel purification systems. The project involved reproducing 3D models from existing orthographic drawings, developing detailed manufacturing plans, and creating comprehensive diagrams to support system design and implementation

Key Contributions:
- 3D Model Reproduction and Updates:
Utilized Autodesk Inventor to accurately reproduce 3D models of RCI Technologies' proprietary fuel purifiers, filters, and coalescers from existing orthographic drawings. Updated and refined these models to create standardized drawings that improved clarity and consistency. - Skid Manufacturing Drawings:
Developed detailed standard and client-specific skid manufacturing drawings from rough sketch diagrams. These drawings were essential for guiding the fabrication process and ensuring that all components were accurately represented and assembled. - P&ID Creation:
Created Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for skid drawings, providing a detailed representation of the systems' processes, instrumentation, and control components. This helped in visualizing the operational workflow and ensuring accuracy in system design. - 3D Diagrams for System Outlines:
Designed 3D diagrams outlining typical system configurations, enhancing the understanding of system layouts and interactions. These diagrams facilitated better planning and communication of system functionalities.
