Project Overview:

As the Director of Technology and Development, I led the design and deployment of the Prime Project Workflow Application, an innovative online platform developed to enhance employee workflows and production. Prime was conceived as a JIRA competitor, leveraging key insights from years of building Microsoft Access databases for project management. The platform was designed with a forward-looking vision to standardize project workflows, ensuring scalability and future growth. Over the course of a year, I successfully managed the migration of 10 high-value projects, totaling over $15 million of revenue, to this platform.

• Efficient Reviews: The platform supports a structured review process with configurable review types, attributes, and questions, simplifying the evaluation of work performed for each job.
• Task Management: Prime’s task management features help users manage individual to-dos for jobs and reviews, ensuring comprehensive oversight and completion.
• Activity Logging: Status Notes serve as detailed activity logs for each job, providing a thorough record of actions and decisions for reference and audits.
• File Management: The platform supports the inclusion of images and documents, accommodates document-only projects, and allows customization of image and document types.
• User-Centric Approach: Prime’s user management system facilitates the association of users with projects, incorporating profiles that include Name, Email, Company, Division, and Department.
• Automated Workflows: Configurable triggers allow users to automate various workflows within Prime, aligning them with specific business processes to enhance efficiency.

Achievements

• Leadership in Development: Oversaw the design and deployment of the Prime platform, transforming it into a powerful tool for managing complex engineering projects.
• Successful Migration: Led the migration of 10 projects, with a combined value of over $15 million, to Prime within one year, demonstrating the platform's effectiveness and scalability.
